...This is the third, and probably last post of this blog already, it went by so quick.
How do you feel about music now? Have you changed during this course? What thoughts do you have on music or this course.
I still enjoy music as much as before, maybe have a bit more interest in Rock music. I changed mostly on guitar skills, I think I have improved a lot, whether it's note reading, playing with other people, or just basic strumming and finger picking. Most of all, I really enjoyed this course, it is one of my favorite semester course. I will miss going up to Guitar I, first period, every A day, and listening to different artists shown to us by Mr. A every time.

Second Blog Response
I just realized I complete forgot about this homework ==". My bad for not writing it down. I'll just do this anyways, even if it doesn't count anymore.
How often do you practice?(be honest!) What skills do you practice? How long do you practice? What are your goals for the end of the term? (Be realistic) How do you feel you are progressing? Are you improving? Why or why not?
I practice 5 days a week, each day about 40 minutes, the only two days I don't practice is on Friday and Sunday. I practice fingering skills (Chromatic Scales and some other different type of practice that are similar), Guitar I songs (Next To You, That Should Be Me), my guitar teacher's homework (some classical songs). I really want to be able to skillfully strum all chords for different songs (I still have some chords I can't play) and also maybe barre chords (barre chords probably being the hardest). I do feel like I'm progressing on my tuning skills, my hearings are getting better, because we had tuning practice everyday, which really helped me, since I hardly ever tune at home. Another improvement that I realized was I was being able to switch chords faster when strumming, probably thanks to the practice with my group in Guitar I. I look forward to the rest of the course. :)

First Blog Assignment
1) How are you similar and different to other classmates?
Most of my classmates performed on stage, either at a concert or a talent show, while I never did. Many also have been to a concert, I haven't been at any. Jack, and Tin doesn't seem to have the same music taste as I do, I like completely different types of music, they dislike rock, and like music without lyrics and slow. For the similarities, I love the guitar, and so does most of my classmates. Some strange similarities I have with Vie and Sally are: Vie also started learning piano at six, and learned it for a very long time, she also can't read notes. Sally had tried studying three instruments: Piano, drum and guitar, I also experienced the exact same three. For music genres, the majority of the class, from the Musicographies I looked at, like pop and modern music. I, too, like modern music, but not just pop, I also enjoy R&B, Rap, and Rock.
2) What is your goal in Guitar 1? Why?
My goal in Guitar 1 is to improve my guitar skills, I'm pretty new at this because I only take guitar lessons once a week, and only an hour every lesson. So in a month I get about four hours of guitar lessons. I really enjoy the different things you can play on the guitar, from strumming for people to sing, to solo the whole song (no lyrics). There's just so much more to learn about the guitar.
3) Any other thoughts about the class, guitar, or music.
I don't really have any, but if I could ask one question, then I might like to know if we're going to learn any modern guitar playing?
